Ζώντας σε Δύσκολους Καιρούς: Πώς οι πολίτες αντιδρούν στην οικονομική κρίση και στις κοινωνικές και πολιτικές της συνέπειες (LIVEWHAT)
Σύντομη Περιγραφή
Το πρόγραμμα έχει στόχο την παραγωγή τεκμηριωμένης γνώσης σχετικά με την ανθεκτικότητα (resilience) των πολιτών σε περιόδους οικονομικών κρίσεων σε εννέα Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες: Γαλλία, Γερμανία, Ελλάδα, Ιταλία, Πολωνία, Ισπανία, Σουηδία, Ελβετία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο.
Στο πρόγραμμα εξετάζονται οι τρόπους με τους οποίους οι Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες έχουν αντιδράσει στην κρίση η οποία από το 2008, με διαφορετικό βαθμό έντασης στην κάθε χώρα, έχει πλήξει την Ευρώπη. Επιπλέον, στοχεύει να εξετάσει τους τρόπους με τους οποίους οι πολίτες αντιμετωπίζουν τις οικονομικές κρίσεις και τις συνέπειες τους ευρύτερα.
Το πρόγραμμα μελετά το πώς ανταποκρίνονται τόσο ατομικά όσο και συλλογικά οι πολίτες, τις ιδιωτικές και τις δημόσιες διαστάσεις των αποκρίσεων αυτών, το πολιτικό αλλά και το μη πολιτικό περιεχόμενο τους. Το LIVEWHAT δεν επικεντρώνεται μόνο στις αποκρίσεις των πολιτών αλλά διαφωτίζει και τις πολιτικές αντιμετώπισης της κρίσης, έτσι ώστε να υπάρχει μια βάση για την εκτίμηση της προσαρμοστικότητας των πολιτών σε περιόδους κρίσης.
Μέσα από την εφαρμογή ποικίλων και μεθοδολογιών Το LIVEWHAT προσφέρει ποσοτικά και ποιοτικά δεδομένα κι έχει τους ακόλουθους στόχους:
- Να προάγει την γνώση που σχετίζεται με τους τρόπους μέσω των οποίων οι πολίτες ανταποκρίνονται σε οικονομικές κρίσεις και στα κοινωνικά και πολιτικά τους επακόλουθα.
- Να συμβάλει στην τοποθέτηση των τρόπων που ανταποκρίνονται οι πολίτες στις οικονομικές κρίσεις και των αρνητικών επιπτώσεων τους στην πολιτική ατζέντα, έτσι ώστε να υπάρξει μια ευαισθητοποίηση για την κατάσταση που βιώνουν οι ομάδες που εκτίθενται σε ιδιαίτερο κίνδυνο σε περιόδους κρίσης.
- Να βελτιώσει την ικανότητα επίλυσης προβλημάτων των φορέων χάραξης πολιτικής και των επαγγελματιών, παρέχοντας προτάσεις πολιτικής κι έναν κατάλογο καλών πρακτικών.
- Να συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη μιας πιο ολοκληρωμένης και συντονισμένης προσέγγισης για την επίλυση προβλημάτων μέσα στα κράτη-μέλη και την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, προωθώντας τη μεταφορά γνώσης και την εκμάθηση πολιτικών διαχείρισης της κρίσης.
