The Business Economics & New TeChnology Laboratory (B.E.NE.TeC.) was established in October 2004 by the Senate of the University of Crete. Its mission is to produce world-class research output in fields relevant to Business Economics and their interdependence with New Technologies.
B.E.NE.TeC.'s main goals are to:
a) Use the state-of-the art methodologies in economics and management science, tackling issues from a global perspective with refer to advances in Information Technology and their applications in contemporary business models.
b) To bring together academics with people from the business sector, acting in favour of corporate development and technology transfer and enabling companies operating in the dynamically evolving business environment.
Since 2014, in association with the TECHNIS research group, B.E.NE.TeC has organized a series of interdisciplinary web seminars that are open to all.
