Η Μονάδα Σχολικής Ψυχολογίας είναι ενταγμένη από το 2002 στο Εργαστήριο Ψυχολογικής Έρευνας και του Παιδαγωγικού Τμήματος Προσχολικής Εκπαίδευσης και λειτουργεί για τα τελευταία 16 χρόνια στο Πανεπιστήμιο Κρήτης, καθώς επίσης είναι ενταγμένη στο Κέντρο Ερευνών & Μελετών (ΚΕΜΕ) του Πανεπιστήμιου Κρήτης.
