Eleni Katsarou
Professor of Curriculum and Instruction

Eleni Katsarou is Professor of Curriculum and Instruction, Department of Philosophy and Social Studies, University of Crete. Her research interests focus on Curriculum Development, Educational Action Research, (multi)literacies, critical (digital, media) literacy, multimodality, students’ voice, students as auto-ethnographers, Knowledge Democracy in school. She has more than 25 years of experience on more than 15 action research projects. She is Principal investigator in two research projects funded by the EU (one Erasmus+ and one ESPA) and partner in another two Erasmus+ Project during the last 5 years. She is Supervisor in 2 finished PhDs and 3 running now, as well as 22 finished master dissertations and 2 running now.
